ADT receives BSIA Founder Member Award
The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has awarded ADT Fire & Security a Founder Member Award for supporting the Association for over 50 years.
Members are being recognised for 25+ years with the Association, and the Founder Member Award underlines those companies who were and remain the foundation blocks which have helped shape how the BSIA operates.
Mike Reddington, Chief Executive, BSIA said: “The BSIA founder member award serves to recognise the hard work, dedication and active participation shown by those companies who have not only supported the Association over the years, but have helped mould it into what it is today, as the recognised ‘voice of the professional security industry’.
“Each contribution whether large or small has influenced the BSIA’s development and we are thankful to be able to present ADT with an award in recognition of their contribution to the BSIA and the wider industry. Receiving this award should serve as a reminder of some of the BSIA initiatives ADT have been involved in over the years; shaping the NPCC Police policy for alarm systems, improving industry standards, developing training and playing a role in the development of Electronic Call Handling Operations (ECHO), to name but a few.
“The BSIA would like to thank ADT for all the work they have done and we look forward to many more years of support and collaboration.”
Richard Jones, Director & General Manager, Johnson Controls Fire & Security – UK & Ireland said: “ADT are absolutely delighted to receive this recognition and we look forward to many more years of active participation with the BSIA.”
