DuPont has announced calls for applications for its 2015 Safety and Sustainability Awards.

Now in its 12th edition, the global Awards are open to all companies, individuals or organisations that can demonstrate significant achievements in any of the three award categories:

  • The DuPont Safety Award
  • The DuPont Sustainability Award
  • The DuPont Operations Excellence Award

In the face of increasing globalisation and focus on profitability, companies' investment in health and safety can be neglected. Like the Healthy Workplaces Campaign which seeks to demonstrate how investment in areas such as stress management pays off in the long term, DuPont believes that investment in safety and sustainability can potentially bring a competitive advantage, drive results, optimise operational efficiency, and reduce costs. Therefore, it is important to recognise the achievements of companies that have found effective, innovative ways of becoming greener, cleaner, and leaner.

The DuPont Safety and Sustainability Awards aim to reward the most significant and innovative projects that deliver concrete results.
The deadline for initial applications is 1st February 2015. Applicants will then have until 27 February 2015 to complete their entries. An independent jury comprised of OSH experts from companies, associations and organisation, will select the winners.
DuPont invites eligible companies to apply and share their success stories while inspiring others to act.
