Securitas has acquired the technology security company Chillida Sistemas de Seguridad in Spain.

In 2011, Chillida had annual sales of approximately MSEK 265 (MEUR 30) and approximately 200 employees. The company has operations in the entire country, with most of the employees located in Valencia and Madrid.

Chilllida is focused in technology security operations like installations, monitoring and maintenance. The customers are mainly in the banking, retail, industry, public administration and residential segments. The company has a stable sales development, in-depth knowledge in technical security solutions and a good reputation.

Chillida's operation will be an important complement to Securitas' security services portfolio and customers.

"With the acquisition of Chillida, Securitas will strengthen its position within combined services of guarding and technology systems. Securitas now creates a technology hub that will bring value primarily to our operations in Spain and Portugal", says Securitas President and CEO Alf Göransson.
