COE: going further with IP

COE: going further with IP. COE has extended the range of interface cards for its X-Net fibre and IP transmission system.

This is used as the backbone transmission network in numerous video surveillance systems. The Media card allows users to interface IP LAN and WLAN equipment direct to fibre infrastructure for IP upgrade or first build system rollout.

Any standard IP device may be connected to the card including switches and routers, enabling very cost effective LAN extensions for core networks.

It is fully compatible with the Company’s range of point-to-point and CWDM multipoint optics.

The card is complemented by the OPT4-ETH and OPT8-ETH multi-channel video modules that include an Ethernet 10/100BT port, extending the interface options for hybrid and multi-functional fibre networks.
