Dedicated Micros has been using the IFSEC 2008 to highlight what the company calls a quantum leap in capability of its Netvu Connected CCTV systems from High Definition CCTV to major video management developments which are designed to dramatically enhance the experience of end users operating the company’s systems.

New user interface designs include an on-screen ‘Point&Go’ PTZ (Pan, Tilt, Zoom) control capability – a key feature of the new Oracle Dome camera, embedded camera selection maps, and the launch of an intuitive video timeline to replace ‘goto’ as the de facto standard for the latest generation of the CCTV systems, making it much easer to reach scenes of interest in either live or recorded views.
