TeleEye announces the RX800 Series launch, the latest addition to the flagship analogue video recording server collection. TeleEye is bringing users a state-of-the-art video compression engine, which supports dual modes for professional video surveillance and event management applications.

These models are able to provide 6-, 12- and 16- channel professional grade recording options for different applications. The new TeleEye RX800 Series offers revolutionary 3x2 and 4x3 screen layouts which can perfectly fill a wide screen display up with 4:3 videos. Users can now install extra cameras for additional viewing angles in order to utilise all the space on the screen, without distorting the images. This upgraded feature helps operators to oversee multiple sites simultaneously, therefore safeguarding their premises more effectively.

"TeleEye RX800 Series gains extra benefit from dual compression formats. It is incorporated with proprietary multi-stream video coder SMAC-M, which is able to generate three independent data feeds for optimising the video streaming performance over different network environments," said Prof. Cliff Chan, CEO of TeleEye Group. "Meanwhile, the H.264 video stream is dedicated to video recording. This enables RX800 Series to fulfill the general requirement for tender, hence increases potential business opportunities."

It is equally paramount of having security measures in place. With this in mind, TeleEye Hacker Resistant technology is also implemented into the whole RX800 Series. This protects confidential video data from being extracted by third parties.

The RX800 Series is complemented with TeleEye sureGUARD Video Response Centre solution, designed for visual alarm verification applications. This end-to-end alarm management solution is able to carry out off site monitoring and actions in 24/7 operations such as control centres.
