Ansell Healthcare introduces a new range within the popular HyFlex family: HyFlex 11-120/122/125. It is especially designed for micro-electronic work where electro-static discharge (ESD) must be avoided. The thin design improves the handling of ever smaller components. Moreover, nitrile foam ensures that the gloves are guaranteed free of dimethyl formamide (DMF).

The HyFlex 11-120 range is designed for assembly, quality inspection and packaging in the following sectors.

  • Fine electronics
  • Automotive electronic supplies

Dissipates electrostatic discharge
Electro-static discharge (ESD) can cause major problems in micro-electronics assembly where it negatively impacts manufacturing costs, product quality and profitability. For the HyFlex 11-120, 11-122 and 11-125, antistatic properties are obtained by adding carbon fibres to the nylon liner. This approach results in a very high level of ESD prevention. Tested according to the EN 1149-1 standard at 60% R.H. (surface resistance), the HyFlex 11-120, 11-122 and 11-125 fall within the “dissipative” category.

Thin & comfortable
As micro-electronic components continue to become smaller, dexterity and fine movement become ever more essential. In addition to superb anti-static protection, the HyFlex 11-120, 11-122 and 11-125 have been designed to be extremely thin. The liner is made from 13g nylon fibre for extra softness and comfort. This comfort is preserved through the use of nitrile foam, which penetrates the liner far less than a polyurethane (PU) coating would. And the glove’s light colour helps users easily detect any dirt or contamination. Along with these features the 11-120, 11-122 and 11-125 include all the HyFlex qualities that so many professionals have grown to appreciate: light weight, ergonomic design, superior comfort, dexterity and tactility.

No solvent-based materials
Most dissipative ESD gloves on the market are made with solvent-based materials. Ansell is unique in offering a nitrile foam version. The HyFlex 11-120 and 11-125 with nitrile foam are free of dimethyl formamide (DMF), ensuring that surfaces stay clean and uncontaminated.

DEHNventil ACI M: Standard-compliant Surge Protection in Industry

High demands are placed on the availability of switchgear in, for example, industrial plants, data centres, hospitals and large administrative buildings. This makes surge protection essential. At the same time, replacement of the surge protection module should not influence system availability. The new DEHNventil ACI M TNS 264 FM has no backup fuse and is flexible in terms of its application. In the event of a fault, the protection module is safely disconnected and can be quickly removed from the base part from either side or the front. The touch-safe design allows the protection module to be replaced without system downtime. The ACI technology employed also enables connection cross-sections of just 16 mm2. This facilitates installation and saves time.
