Georg Schlegel: 2BSecure Interface Protection

Unprotected interfaces on machines and systems pose a significant safety risk. The may become an open gate for malware or data manipulation.
Schlegel´s 2BSecure system prevents this by disabling interfaces by default. Access is limited to authorised personnel, who activate the interface via a key switch or RFID, only. Before that, no data transmission is possible. This access limitation does not only protect the machine control, but also sensible data within the whole network.
2BSecure was developed as a flexible and easy to install black box solution that is being installed between the interface and the end device. The black box is usually well protected within the machine. The interfaces offer the typical requirements for USB-A, USB-C and Ethernet. The dimensions of the black box are very compact with 50 x 60 x 17 mm.
2BSecure can be implemented without great effort in exsting machine and IT infrastructures. The control of the black box is conducted through the end device which guarantees a seamless implementation. 2BSecure can also be adjusted to different requirements and application areas.
With the control of open interfaces, 2BSecure contributes to comply with the strict requirements of the new EU machine directive 2027 and the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA).
