IFSEC 2019: InnoSenT Presents Radar Products with Smart Tracker

Photo

InnoSenT is taking part in Europe’s biggest security event, IFSEC, being held at the ExCeL London exhibition centre. From 18 to 20 June 2019, the radar experts will present their security solutions at their trade fair booth, no. IF1624. The focus will be on the Smart Tracker of the new iSYS-50x1 series.

InnoSenT will be exhibiting at the leading trade fair for the security industry and related technology for the second time. More than 27,000 trade specialists from the sector meet every year at IFSEC to exchange information on the latest developments and trends. The company’s 42-m² booth provides the ideal setting to find out about innovative radar technology and the individual added value it can lend to one’s own security product.

“IFSEC 2019 presents us with an ideal opportunity to demonstrate our new systems to the public for the first time. We are very excited to see how the audience of industry specialists reacts to our developments. Radar is very complex and is becoming increasingly popular thanks to the technical possibilities it opens up. At the event, we will have the opportunity to tackle questions about our radar technology in person”, explains Christian Bömmel, Head of Industrial Sales & Marketing, in reference to the upcoming trade fair.

InnoSenT will also showcase the successful iSYS-50xx series, which they recently expanded to include two additional radar systems. The products provide information on the speed, distance, direction of movement and position of persons or vehicles within the coverage area of up to 29,500 m². Its features are perfectly coordinated with outdoor area surveillance.

While integrating the iSYS-5010 and 5020 requires a great deal of radar expertise, InnoSenT also enables easier access to the technology by means of their new additions to the range: iSYS-5011 and 5021. The latter options are primarily aimed at customers with limited development resources. The systems include comprehensive signal processing. The customer can thus directly utilise important functions such as object classification and filtering of detections. The result is a quicker time-to-market phase. By defining ignore and alarm zones, users can focus on the relevant areas and thus increase surveillance efficiency.

The highlight is the new tracker license available for the iSYS-5011 and 5021. The Smart Tracker clusters together individual radar detections and tracks them over time. This allows persons and their movement behaviour to be observed. The recorded track remains preserved even if the person briefly stops moving or changes posture. If the system is coupled with video equipment, the tracking function enables the camera’s field of vision to be pointed towards a person.

In addition to the iSYS-50xx series, InnoSenT also offers a near-range security solution with the INS radar system. The combination of motion and presence detectors permits technical equipment to be controlled in two different, contactless ways. It also allows two different applications to be controlled with a single sensor. The end users do not need to put in place an additional system in order to utilise the different detection modes.

The trade fair team looks forward to discussing the technology in depth with you at booth no. IF1624. Feel free to make an appointment to talk with our experts on site. The options for getting in touch with the sales team and further information about InnoSenT products can be found on the company website.

HVI Light Plus for Lightning Protection Applications

When installing bare, uninsulated air-termination conductors on the roof, the separation distance to electrical and metal systems installed under the roof surface must be maintained in accordance with the current lightning protection standard DIN EN 62305-3. Cable installations, pipe systems or metal parts are frequently installed under the roofing in direct proximity to the air-termination system / down conductor, thus posing a proximity issue. The solution is isolated air-termination systems with high-voltage-resistant, insulated down conductors.
