Jokab Safety: electrical magnet Magne. Jokab Safety has introduced Magne, a new electrical magnet developed for safety applications in combination with the Eden door monitoring switch.

Included in the magnet is an information output contact which indicates when the holding force has reached the level needed. This gives the possibility to supervise if it is mounted correctly and if there is anything in-between the magnet and the holding plate.

Different holding forces can be achieved by connecting various voltages between 0 and 30V to the magnet. At 0 voltage, the magnetic field is completely gone, and there is no residual magnetism therefore no magnet material can be kept on which gives a reliable application.
