SeeTec: Video embedded into security concepts
At security essen this year SeeTec is showcasing the latest innovation trends on video management software at the cooperation booth with distribution partner Allnet (booth 217 in hall 2.0).
The performance is concentrating on the current software version SeeTec Cayuga R4 as well as on a preview of the upcoming release R5 (available in December 2014). One key aspect is the embedding of video systems into widespread security concepts. In particular a standardized driver-based concept for big legacy systems with subsidiaries was developed to make the SeeTec system capable of integrating digital image storage devices. Additionally connected cameras still forward live and archive images to the SeeTec software.
Hence, SeeTec is capable to provide a comprehensive administration and visualization platform for different image sources. SeeTec Cayuga R5 contains standardized interface to connect with external access control systems, too.
Events being triggered in the access control can lead to an alarm in the SeeTec system. Another scenario may be that situations (e.g. "open door") can be visualized in floor plans of SeeTec Cayuga. The SeeTec solution relieves the security staff's work by presenting all relevant event data directly in the video management system. A driver-based approach enables a swift integration of new access controls even by partners.
