Synchronized Pulsed LED Illuminators

Raytec have launched a range of high intensity pulsed LED illuminators called Pulsestar that are designed for transport and machine vision applications, including ANPR/LPR. The illuminators have up to 880W of lighting drive power and employ Platinum Elite twin-core SMT LEDs. The illumination can be pulsed in synchronization with the camera shutter via a TTL input of between 3.3 and 24 volts to deliver high intensity lighting to illuminate fast moving objects and ensure maximum light levels precisely when necessary. The series is available as a full range of Infra-Red and White-Light pulsed LED illuminators. All models feature an interchangeable lens system for an elliptical beam with angles from 10 to 35 degrees and hot-spot reduction technology for even illumination.
