Total Walther: linear heat detector ZX SensorLaser

Total Walther: linear heat detector ZX SensorLaser. The ZX SensorLaser Plus is a linear heat detector that uses optical fibre as a sensor, through which the evaluation unit passes laser pulse signals.

The temperature profile is determined along the fibre from back-scattered signals, with a resolution of 2-4 m on a fibre lenght of up to 8 km. As such, the system is ideal for particularly long (tunnels, cable lines, conveyor belts) or large facilities (cool stores, multi-storey car parks), as well as a range of inaccessible areas (false floors, tanks).

Even under extreme conditions, the ZX Sensor-Laser Plus delivers precise information about fire location, extension and spread.

This information can be transferred to fire alarm or management systems.
