inter airport Europe 2023 10. - 13. October 2023

The one stop shop event that unites the entire Airport community confirms its position as long-standing partner of the industry.

Interairport 2023

The countdown is on for inter airport Europe 2023. Taking place from 10 – 13 October 2023 at the Munich Trade Fair Centre in Germany, inter airport Europe unites industry leaders and tech suppliers from across the globe, with nearly three-quarters of exhibitors coming from outside Germany and several national pavilions presenting at the show. The top five exhibitor countries are Germany, Italy, France, the UK and the United States. Around a third of exhibitors are newcomers on the show floor, reflecting a renewed interest in promoting and positioning innovative products on the global airport market.

The event is the only show covering all airport-related areas, a key advantage for all the visitors of the event, as it provides the decision-makers of the industry with a unique chance to find all they need under one roof.

With two exhibition halls virtually sold out, exhibitors are embracing the recently opened additional Hall C6 at this year’s inter airport Europe, the leading trade exhibition for the global airport industry.

The upcoming inter airport Europe offers an encouraging perspective on new and emerging technologies that will help airports streamline their infrastructure, systems, and processes whilst meeting rising costs and compliance, in particular in regard to reaching net zero carbon emissions by 2050.

The inter airport Europe Seminars offer a popular platform to present and learn about new approaches to current airport industry developments. With sessions varying from 15 to 30 minutes in length, the programme will provide insight into the state of the industry on the following topics:

  • Leading Terminal Technology: New approaches to rejuvenate the terminal experience
  • Disruptive Digital Innovations: Digital advancements in passenger management, terminal security and autonomous operations; and
  • Cutting Edge Apron Insights: Re-inventing ground support operations and airfield set-ups.

The full seminar agenda will be published online closer to the event.

Visitors can register via the Online Ticket Shop and benefit from a reduced price when purchasing their ticket in advance.

Charging and Storing Lithium-Ion Batteries Correctly

Lithium-ion batteries offer many advantages. They are long lasting, have a high energy density and are only slightly self-discharging. The batteries are therefore particularly practical for many devices in the industrial sector as well as in security technology. However, one thing should always be borne in mind: Lithium and many of its compounds are highly flammable and highly reactive. Certified and GS-tested type 90 safety cabinet models enable the highest safety requirements to be met when storing and charging lithium-ion batteries.
