Light + Building Autumn Edition shows solutions for a secure home
"My home is my castle" is an old English saying. At home, but also in commercial buildings or at the workplace, people want to feel safe and protected.
Whether access restrictions, video surveillance, fire or data protection - the demands on integrated security technology are increasing in the building of the future.
At Light + Building Autumn Edition (2.- 6. October 2022), "Networking + Security" will therefore be one of the top themes. In the smarthome and in smart buildings, interdisciplinary system technology is the basis for networking all components and applications - this is where security technology plays a central role.
Intersec Building and Intersec Forum
As an integral part of the leading international trade fair Light + Building, exhibitors will present their innovations for home and building security at „Intersec Building“ (2.- 6.10.2022) at the Frankfurt Exhibition Centre. In the context of lighting, electrical engineering and home and building automation, „Intersec Building“ is therefore the platform for networked security technology.
The range of products and services will be supplemented by the „Intersec Forum“. The specialized conference for integrated safety technology (3. - 6.10.2022) accompanies the range of exhibitors from this sector and forms the cross-sector expert meeting place and important networking event for all those who plan, operate and develop building-services systems. Visitors can look forward to specialized lectures, discussion rounds and exhibitor presentations on all aspects of building safety and security.
The main themes of the conference
The focus on day one is entirely on semantic interoperability, i.e. how security applications, building automation systems and communication systems interact with each other and thus function together.
The second conference day deals with video technology and artificial intelligence, e.g. the challenging question of controlling flows of people in real time.
The main topics on day three are access control, alarm and call systems. Fingerprints, iris scans and voice recognition are already making payment transactions more secure as biometric features and are therefore ideal for controlled access to buildings.
Fire protection will conclude the series of lectures and discussions. Here, too, the focus is on “how can digital assistance improve fire protection measures?“

This comprehensive range of events makes the Light + Building Autumn Edition a must-attend event for everyone involved in modern lighting and building technology.
