Acti: Bari Soccer stadium chooses IP surveillance. Acti‘s Video Server, SED-2100R, and Transcoder, SED-3200, has enabled Bari Soccer stadium in Italy to incorporate IP based CCTV systems.

Incorporating with Elmo‘s DVR, Matrices and monitoring solutions, the new system allows centralized control and high integration of different CCTV systems. The CCTV system includes 24 analogue cameras in total: six pan-tilt cameras are installed around the playing field, the other 18 cameras are positioned in the car parks and inside the stadium.

The distance between the cameras and the control centre is considerable, so the integration of wireless AP‘s was the best solution rather than rigorous cabling. The SED-2100R network video server along with a media converter have been installed for each camera.
