CIAS at Inter Airport Munich & Sicurezza Milano
CIAS demonstrates how to take care of Security & Safety in Airports in these two important fairs. Don’t miss the opportunity to learn more about this hot topic.
From October 10 to 13, visitors can find CIAS exhibiting at InterAirport Europe in Munich, inside the Italian Pavillion, in Hall B6, Stand 646-6. CIAS is displaying their new lifesaving system for aircraft collision prevention ERMO 482X3PRO-AIR.
According to IATA annual Safety Reports in fact, the commercial aviation industry suffered 39 total accidents in 2022 and in three of the accidents, fatalities did not occur to passengers and crew, but rather to persons on the ground. In 2022, the FAA reported 1,732 runway incursions, classifying the potential for a catastrophic accident as “unacceptable. Adverse weather condition was a contributing factor in 31% of these accidents. Therefore, runway safety stays among priorities in airports worldwide.
The new microwave barrier has been developed specifically to assist ground control operation in preventing all possible scenarios of runways incursions, which are mainly due to bad visibility from the control tower. The airport environment is very restrictive a due to:
- high radio-frequency interference with heavy load of electromagnetic signals related to ground radars and navigation radars on board.
- impact of all possible climatic conditions: fog, snow, strong wind, heavy rain, etc.
- prohibition of prominent elements (e.g., high poles) near runways which could crash into aircraft wings and engines.
Regardless the weather conditions, immune to radiofrequency disturbance and installed at 90cm above the ground, our system detects aircraft crossing at stop bar locations, or entering the wrong direction on a runway and ultimately prevents collisions between aircraft in transit on the same taxiway. The system communicates when aircraft cross the Stop Bar and provides direction control at No Entry points on the runway. The benefits are significant to Air Traffic Ground Controllers who may be monitoring one area of the runway and enable a heads up of a potential hazardous situation before it occurs.
Many International airports already rely on CIAS systems both to ensure optimal safety for aircraft and passengers using its infrastructure and for airport security in protection of their perimeter against dangerous intrusion.
In November 15-17, CIAS also invites you to visit us at Sicurezza exhibition in Milan - Hall 7P, Stand E01/F04.
This year CIAS wants to bring the visitor's attention to the most requested applications from the security market. The traditional concept of the classic static booth will be overturned into the staging of a metamorphic stand, which develops around a different scenography depending on the focus topic of the day. During the three days of the fair 3 hot verticals will be on stage: Airports, as said before, with Ermo 482X3PRO-AIR for aircraft ground control management; Photovoltaics, with the possibility to ask support for a project study to our Service out of our yearly experience on how to secure solar farms with microwave barriers and mems fence-mounted systems, and Pipelines, with the debut of our new long-range fiber-optic system Apache Pipeline.
Of course, CIAS will also display our best sellers Fuzzy Logic devices for perimeter protection of critical infrastructures: Micro-Ray linear mW barrier for application in very narrow sensitive areas, Ermo 482X3PRO volumetric mW barrier for extreme security and close-to-zero- false alarms, Sioux PRO2 fence-detection system with evolved MEMS technology suitable for any kind of fence and environment, and the Murena Compact+ mW radar, able to select target’s dimension for very intelligent intrusion detection indoor and outdoor. Finally, Synapses “super-sensor” with embedded AI, the self-adaptive system with video analytics and deep learning criteria which enables the real time communication between CCTV and PIDS: intrusion analysis is dynamically adapted to the real site conditions, distinguishing different targets in the video flow to maximizes outdoor detection performance.
CIAS invites to see what what else they have prepared, don’t miss the chance and register at Sicurezza website with the CIAS Invitation Code to redeem a free entry: 5511002004. CIAS is looking forward to welcoming you!
