Comsoft: intensifies business relations with GCAA. On the verge of bringing to completion their new air traffic control center in Abu Dhabi and after several months of successful operation of an advanced ATC system, GCAA ordered further complementing products from the German ATC expert Comsoft.
On the occasion of the annual ATC exhibition in Amsterdam GCAA‘s Director Air Navigation Service, Hassan Karam, and Comsoft’s managing director Manfred Schmid sealed this business by signing the contracts.
“As the UAE‘s ACC runs 1,500 movements a day and we need to move fast towards safe and efficient Air Traffic Management,” stated Karam.
The new contract includes additional subsystems such as an ATC archiving server, a diversity display system and a network monitoring system for Comsoft’s Prisma.
