Dutch government selects Sagem Identification for secure travel documents

Sagem Identification (Morpho's subsidiary, Safran group) announced that it won an international call for tenders from the Dutch Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. Starting October 1st, 2011, Sagem Identification will produce, personalize and distribute the new designed Dutch travel documents (electronic passports and national identity cards) for a period of 7 years with an extension possibility of 3 years. The yearly volume will be over 3 million documents.
