DVS, one of the UK's fastest growing distributors of security and CCTV equipment, has signed a distribution agreement with LG Electronics that will see it provide LG's full offering of video surveillance products to UK installers and integrators - including LG's new Full HD IP cameras and recorders.

Shaun Bowie, DVS's managing director, said the addition of LG to its product offering was a perfect fit. "LG's products provide a clear pathway from analogue to Full HD IP, and crucially, offer a demonstrable means for end users to achieve return on investment," he said. "They provide great image quality and offer unparalleled reliability. We're very excited to have LG on board."

LG's unique recording solutions assist users with the transition from analogue to full IP-based systems. Their hybrid recorders run on software which manages individual camera channels, allowing end users to replace analogue cameras with IP models as the need arises, switching off analogue channels and on IP channels. LG's platform can manage the full life cycle of an end user's upgrade to full high definition IP.

The award-winning and recognisable LG brand provides network and analogue cameras, DVRs, NVRs and software. Their software uses simple, Windows-like menus, making systems quick and easy to install. And their proven reliability means projects are able to be completed on time with the minimum of fuss.

David Hammond, managing director of European Security Partners, LG's UK and Europe representatives, said: "Appointing DVS as a distributor of LG products was an easy decision, as they are a highly knowledgeable, experienced security distribution organisation, and able to provide the highest levels of technical support and customer care for installers and integrators. We're looking forward to working closely with them."
