Evac+Chair International: new managing director Mark Wallace. Mark Wallace is the new managing director of Evac+Chair International following a management buyout on 19 March 2008.
Predecessor Barry Scholes is maintaining an active role in the company as director of finance and export. Having worked for the company for 13 years as manufacturing director, Mark Wallace is fully immersed in the culture of the company.
Speaking on the evolution of the company, he said, “Product innovation and our ability to anticipate market needs has always been and will continue to be key to our success. As we move into an increasingly legislative era, our ability to provide customers with a one-stop package for compliance including training and servicing is also setting us apart from the competition and is certainly an area of growth for the future.”
Remaining on the company’s board is technical director Bob Williams and Phil Hopkins director of Evac+Chair’s ParAid Medical division, with Andrew Whitmore joining the company as its new production manager.
