G4S Secure Solutions USA enters the chemical and petrochemical arena with the acquisition of Nuclear Security Services Corp. (NSSC), a risk consulting and security solutions firm specializing in corporate and critical infrastructure applications. NSSC provides evaluation and assessment, security design and engineering, installation and testing of security systems throughout the world, and supplies a wide range of equipment and system options to further enhance G4S's core mission.

NSSC's key markets are in the nuclear power generation and government sectors, with recent expansion into the chemical and petrochemical arena. “Our acquisition of NSSC further broadens our ability to deliver truly integrated security unlike any other company in the industry,” said Drew Levine, President, G4S Secure Solutions – North America. “We provide security consulting and design, engineering, compliance and risk management, plus facilities management and remote video monitoring, all incorporating both the important personnel and the technology aspects of a comprehensive security solution. NSSC's capabilities align exactly with those capabilities and provide us with a wealth of new opportunities.”
