Gunnebo security group now has finalized the establishment of a company based in Shanghai, China. Gunnebo China is the Group's platform for future growth on the expanding Chinese market.

"Gunnebo already does business in China, both purchases and sales," says Gunnebo President and CEO Per Borgvall. "Having our own company on site enables us to bring all our activities under one umbrella and further develop the business". "China is a highly interesting market for us and for our product offering in bank security and cash handling. Our offering in the entrance control product area is also very much of the moment, bearing in mind the major infrastructure investments in airports, railways and metro systems, which are currently being planned or already in progress," Borgvall continues.
Gunnebo's Chinese operation will initially be based in Shanghai and focus on purchases and sales.
