iOmniscient has formed a new partnership with DataDirect Networks (DDN), the world's largest, privately-held, data storage infrastructure provider and offers storage array, file system and object storage appliances for the cloud to the world's most data-intensive environments. The majority of Video Analytics suppliers require large amounts of images to be stored so the software can perform the processing. This will inevitably become very expensive for customers to maintain.

iOmniscient and DDN are working together to provide joint solutions for video analytics and data storage requirements to reduce the storage amount and costs required for the security system. All iOmniscient software is between 2 to 20 times more efficient with respect to computing usage, storage and network bandwidth consumption compared to its competitors. For instance, iOmniscient's award winning iQ-Hawk, when used with a 5 megapixel camera, would reduce the storage and network bandwidth consumption by 200 times.

To improve storage efficiency, DDN uses state-machine technology for leading performance efficiency and in-storage processing to host data-intensive applications. Both iOmniscient and DDN have a strong focus on customers to ensure maximum storage and cost efficiency.
