Michael Unger has been appointed to the position of Vice President Product Management at Salto Systems.

Based at company HQ in Oiartzun, Spain, Unger will work as the interface between the Marketing and Research & Development departments. In his new role he will be responsible for the further development of the Salto product portfolio as well as creating specifications and prioritizing development projects.

He holds a Master degree in Business Administration (University of Economics and Business Vienna) and prior to joining Salto spent 24 years in different roles with Evva, the Austrian locking systems manufacturer.

He started as an assistant operations manager and, in 2002, switched into new product management where he took over responsibility for the Salto product line within Evva. In his last role with the company he was Head of Product Management for all electronic, mechanical and DIY products.

It is by attracting people like Unger to come work with Salto Systems that we have become one of the World’s fastest growing electronic lock companies, delivering superior access control systems while providing outstanding levels of customer support. Michael Unger will report directly to Marc Handels, Chief Marketing and Sales Officer (CMSO) of Salto Systems.
