Milestone Systems, the number one company in video management software (VMS), showcased the open platform community’s solution power at the crowded Milestone booth at Intersec 2017, held in Dubai in late January.
Highlights included Christian Ringler’s introduction as the new regional director for Milestone. The many visitors had the chance to preview XProtect 2017 R1. This coming version of XProtect is released in February 2017.
A full range of camera partners and solution partners presented at the Milestone booth showcasing the continuing power of open platform technology and the expanding partner community: iCetana - Spectra Logic - Pivot3 - Prysm - Ipsotek - NetApp - Allied Telesis - Nedap - SID - Bosch. The presence of all these international and regional partners gave the many visitors at the Milestone booth an opportunity to see the solution power present in the Milestone community.
Regional expansion
Milestone has grown rapidly in the region starting with three people in the Dubai office more than ten years ago. This number has since grown to more than 20 people in the MEA region with offices in Beirut, Jeddah and Johannesburg.
