After a series of creative, constructive meetings, ASIS International and Nedap have decided to join forces. Nedap will organise the Welcome Party of the ASIS 13th European Security Conference & Exhibition in The Hague. This important event will take place from 1 to 3 April 2014.

‘We have a history of taking part in the ASIS Security Conferences & Exhibitions in Europe', says Jos van Nederpelt, Business Development Manager at Nedap Security Management. ‘We organised a diner cruise for the ASIS Benelux chapter in Gothenburg last year and received very positive reactions from the attendants. We approached the ASIS organising committee, because we wanted to discuss if we could add something significant to the high level ASIS conferences. The outcome is that Nedap will sponsor and organise a fantastic Welcome Party for all conference delegates on Tuesday 1 April at the World Forum in The Hague. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed to organise this Welcome Party at next editions of ASIS Europe.'

Michiel Gen, Director EMEA & APAC at ASIS International agrees on this. ‘The success of ASIS's regional Security Conferences & Exhibitions lies in the good balance between educational and networking programme-parts. For the networking part, we already have a very fruitful President's Reception. The Welcome Party - Powered by Nedap will be a perfect opportunity to kick of the European Conference in a very pleasant informal way. We're looking forward to working with Nedap in the coming years as our exclusive partner for the Welcome Party at the ASIS European Security Conference & Exhibition.'

More information on the spectacular ASIS Welcome Party- Powered by Nedap, will follow through the ASIS communication channels including the event webpage www.asisonline.org/thehague
