Jason May, Norbain's Sales Manager of IT channels

Norbain has brought in Jason May as sales manager of IT channels to support its expanding IP business. Jason has been in the IT industry for 18 years, experiencing the myriad of technical and cultural changes that have occurred. Part of this has included championing and delivering the transformation from analogue to IP, working closely with channel partners to show where value lay.

Jason's role at Norbain will be to ensure that its IP brands and offerings are presented to channel partners in the technology sector and that their value is clearly articulated. Barry Shakespeare, MD for Norbain, comments: "Norbain is already one of the leading distributors of analogue security products and we aim to quickly equal this for IP video." He continues, "Jason will be playing a key role in ensuring the right message and the right products are communicated through the IT channels."

Jason comments: "I'm delighted to be working for such a successful distributor in the security arena. These are exciting times for the industry, with IP networking technology bringing us fresh opportunities. The next few years will be busy and fast moving and I'm greatly enthused by the challenges that lie ahead."
