Panasonic System Networks Europe (PSNE) and Midwich, one of the UK's leading IT and AV distributors have today announced a partnership to promote the Panasonic range of next generation business and security systems.

Stephen Gerrard, head of PSNE UK marketing commented; "the world of business systems is converging. Irrespective of whether they are data, video, voice or image based, systems, they are converging into a single network infrastructure, unrestricted by geography". Midwich already supplies Panasonic projectors and professional displays, now they will be supplying the Panasonic range of versatile A4 multifunction printers, high speed professional scanners, ultra fast fax machines, intelligent interactive whiteboards and peerless video surveillance systems.

Alex Ward, commercial director at Midwich stated: "This launch is a change in our current partnership with Panasonic one of our key vendors at Midwich. It reinforces the strong synergies in what we are mutually looking to achieve across both of our businesses. We are excited about adding to our portfolio of products and the partnership also gives us and the reseller complete product solutions from one vendor."

Stephen Gerrard also commented: "Panasonic and Midwich share the same vision of the future direction of IT and AV. A vision of multifunction printers that can send voicemails as email attachments, presentation systems that directly interface with computer and CCTV systems that can integrate with telephony systems. This is an exciting time for Panasonic and Midwich." Alex Ward, added; "We will be working with Panasonic over the next few months to recruit and support a number of resellers who have the skill sets to make the most of these opportunities plus have the ability and drive to take these products to market."
