Sanyo Video Vertrieb AG has appointed Paul André de Jong as a new management board member responsible for the "Expansion" division. Paul de Jong has been working in the CCTV business for many years. He has more than 20 years of experience in the fields of production, sales and marketing gained in different businesses.

1999 - 2006, Mr de Jong has been the sole managing director of the European branch of one of the largest Taiwanese manufacturer of security products. In 2006, he became the COO of a stock exchange listed enterprise focusing on network-based video surveillance and broadcast. He then worked for the leading manufacturer of mega pixel cameras where he gained further experience in the business of network video. Last he was the CEO of the system house Secura Systems GmbH focusing on solutions for the network video business.

Lars Diestel, CEO of Sanyo Video Vertrieb AG, points out: "We continuously further develop the brand SANTEC. I am very pleased that Paul de Jong joins our company because he is an internationally experienced specialist in the video security business. Besides Paul de Jong, new hirings have been made for other key positions in the company, too, such as for services and support, product management and product development. In the future, Sanyo Video Vertrieb AG will focus on the project business, vertical markets and the export business. As a manufacturer and distributor of system components for video surveillance applications, the product portfolio of Sanyo Video Vertrieb will be extended. This is done due to the growing importance of the international market and future requirements imposed on the video security industry.
