Future Fibre Technologies (FFT) has been ranked as a global "Tier 1" supplier of perimeter intrusion equipment by international market research firm, Frost and Sullivan, and named as the leading global supplier of fibre optic intrusion systems by IMS Research (see table below). This industry recognition is consistent with the company's own financial records, which reveal continued growth in the 2009/2010 FY and the largest sales on record.

More than 90% of this year's sales have been exported from its head office in Australia, building on the company's success in exports last year, when it was awarded the the Governor of Victoria's 2009 Export Award for Small and Medium Manufacturers. These results have been supported by the company's internal customer review process, which centres around an annual survey conducted annually amongst customers and industry partners as part of FFT's ongoing focus on customer service.

The survey was completed by distributors, system integrators and end users in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and APAC regions and the results are an important component of FFT's continuous improvement program. This year, FFT's customers rated all five areas of the survey positively, scoring more than 85% across the board. Topping the list were customers' overall impressions of FFT, which scored 93%, followed by technical support at 91%.

Customers' perceptions of the on time and correct delivery of product result was particularly pleasing for FFT CEO, Rob Broomfield, who last year identified this as major challenge facing the company. "The results of the logistics component of the survey are particularly impressive," Mr Broomfield said. "Because this area was the one we targeted for improvement last year and because exports have increased markedly in the past 12 months." "This year's result is a clear validation of the efforts made in this area over the last 18 - 24 months," he said.

Overall, the results of the recently conducted 2010 survey reveal that customers continue to experience ease in dealing with FFT and enjoy efficient and effective support with the highest results in 5 out of 6 categories for the 3 year period in which the surveys have been conducted. In another corporate achievement, the company has also just completed the International Organisation for Standardisation's (ISO) extensive audit process and had its ISO9001:2008 certification validated for another 3 years.
