The social and political unrests of 2011 made governments revisit their security capabilities and their ability to sustain a serene and harmonious environment against all threats. With the development of new technologies, threats have the capabilities to come in any and many forms; in addition to the threats caused by natural disasters. In that regards, leaders worldwide are currently strongly insisting on consolidating institutional and international expertise, experiences and resources to enhance global security and risk prevention.

The ISNR 2012 Conference occurring in conjunction with the 5th edition of the International Security and National Resilience Exhibition and Conference from the 19th to the 21st of March 2012 in the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre will be addressing the full spectrum of homeland security issues and strategies.
