Distributors and resellers from across Europe attended Sanyo Europe CCTV division's Premier Partner conference, which took place at Sanyo's European headquarter in Munich.
The theme for the conference, ‘Toast Our Success', reflected the substantial increase in sales during the previous twelve months of Sanyo's Full HD camera range. In his keynote presentation, Mr. Norihiko Morimoto, Divisional President of Sanyo Sales & Marketing Europe GmbH, thanked the delegates for their superb efforts which combined with Sanyo's highly acclaimed Full HD camera technology, had resulted in the company achieving a share of the HD Megapixel camera market which was in excess of 20%.
Delegates to the conference were given an introduction to a number of new products which SANYO will be launching during the remainder of 2011, including an ‘outdoor ready' Full HD range, automatic license plate software and a VMS Broadcast server which will allow users to multi-stream images captured by SANYO's full HD cameras to IE, Chrome, Firefox and Safari websites.
At an award ceremony at the end of the conference, a number of distributors were recognised for their outstanding contribution to Sanyo's success during 2011, including Scandinavian distributor, Teletec Connect for Best Technical Support. UK based Mayflex won an award for the most interesting non-security application of Full HD technology. Working closely with a system integrator, Mayflex has supplied Sanyo Full HD cameras to Bath Rugby Club to allow them to analyze coaching techniques and tactical play. Teleconnect of the Netherlands were also recognised for the Best Promotional Idea which saw installers and system integrators from around Holland transported to Security Essen in a Sanyo branded coach. In addition the award for the Best CCTV project went to SIELINVEST from Romania for a city surveillance project in Braila which they designed based on a combination of Milestone software and Sanyo Full HD cameras whilst Krieg Videotechnik from Germany won the Best Solution award with its UTMS cameras system which incorporates Sanyo VDC-HD3300P cameras. Finally, third-party software developers, SeeTec AG from Germany and Cathexis Europe Ltd from the UK received recognition as Best Technology partners.
"The conference provided us with the opportunity to show how much we appreciate the support of our loyal network of distributors and resellers," said David Hammond, European Sales Manager. "To further ‘toast our success', we were pleased to invite everyone who attended the conference to relax and celebrate with us at the famous Munich Oktoberfest which was taking place at the same time."
