Security-Center: video surveillance for six-star hotel Mediterranean Village. The Mediterranean Village in Paralia- Katerini is going to be Europe´s first six-star hotel. Video surveillance technology comes from Security-Center and is being implemented by EDV-Service Tonas.

With a number of 220 luxury suites the hotel has a very vast extent. The cameras should be vandal- and waterproof. This is why outside areas are monitored by 13 vandal- and saltwaterproof Eyseo tube cameras while indoor areas are secured by a number often Eyseo IR-dome cameras.

Emphasis of video surveillance is not being set on the exclusive suites, but on neuralgic spots like pool-areas, reception, cashpoints, store- or cold rooms. 30 transmission sets are implemented to bridge the long distances between the cameras and the both Eytron JPEG2000 digital recorders (16 channels).
