SilverNet has appointed communication solutions specialist Distrimedia to distribute its wireless networking range in France.

"Following on from the success achieved over recent years in the UK, SilverNet is looking to develop a strong pan-European presence and we fully appreciate that in order to do so, we need to work with business partners who understand local market requirements in key countries such as France," said Keith Newton, Business Development Manager for SilverNet.

"We are therefore very pleased that Distrimedia will be supporting Silvernet in France. It is a company that since 1992 has built an excellent reputation for providing installers and systems integrators with expert advice on the design and implementation of IP network projects based solutions."

SilverNet's wireless systems, which include Point to Point, Point to Multipoint and Backhaul options, can deliver substantial savings compared to the cost of traditional cabling methods or leased lines. They offer a highly cost-effective option for businesses and organisations that are looking at ways to reduce their ongoing infrastructure costs.
