Transported Asset Protection Association: Astra Zeneca becomes the 200th member. The Transported Asset Protection Association’s (TAPA) proactive membership drive has achieved a significant milestone with Astra Zeneca becoming the 200th member in the association’s Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA).

The decision to join TAPA’s campaign against cargo crime also reflects the growing diversity of the Association’s membership.

Bill Smith, Global Security Director, AstraZeneca, said: „Ensuring the security of our medicines throughout their manufacturing and supply is a fundamental priority for us. The membership complements our existing security arrangements and provides a globally acknowledged standard for the protection of goods in transit. We also value the opportunities that TAPA offers to share information and best practice with other manufacturers, the freight industry and key law enforcement partners in the countries in which we operate.“
