Verint Systems: enhancing security for 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Verint Systems, a provider of analytic software-based solutions for security and business intelligence, announced that it has received a several million dollar order intended for certain districts of the city of Beijing to enhance the security of its critical infrastructure in advanced of the 2008 Olympic Games.

The Verint Networked Video solution will enable security teams to view video collected from sensitive areas around the city of Beijing at central monitoring centres to enhance the effective deployment of personnel.

With integration to a broad variety of other security and communications systems, the Verint solution is designed to enable security personnel to proactively detect threats before they escalate and to enhance the management of emergency situations.
