Videotec: Albert technology and the power of cooperation. Videotec has widened its horizons to enter the world of digital technology and gives appointment to all visitors at the Security show in Essen, where they introduce the advanced Albert technology with a program of live presentations that will be held at their stand.

Videotec will present the exceptional advantages of this totally new approach to the networked intelligence and demonstrate the performance of the smart cooperation and assisted navigation. The cooperation between the various units is the most innovative feature of this system: each Video Agent is able to exchange information with other connected Albert devices, allowing the best possible cover of the areas, reducing cameras overlaps during patrols and cooperating to provide the most suitable video sequence.

Using an innovative Event Detection algorithm, Albert is able to understand by itself, if the scene contains anomalous behaviours for which it is necessary to send an alarm.

A detail of fundamental importance: intelligence is distributed among the Video Agents themselves, so there is no need for a central server. This guarantees: excellent fault tolerance, full system scalability, possibility of integration with third party management software.
