WinGuard awarded with the GIT SECURITY AWARD 2024
1st Place for the Open Integration Platform WinGuard from Advancis in the category Building Security
Advancis Software & Services GmbH, one of the international market leaders in vendor-neutral PSIM, has been awarded 1st place for its open integration platform WinGuard X5 in the category Building Security of the renowned GIT SECURITY AWARD. WinGuard offers a cross-domain integration of the entire security, building and communication technology as well as the IT infrastructure. The individual technical systems are directly integrated into WinGuard via adapters to enable to control them from a unified user interface. The connection of further systems such as IoT, incident management or ticketing systems can also be realized seamlessly. The new version X5 contains extensive revisions and is, for the first time, based on the new Advancis Open Platform (AOP).
"We are very happy about the 1st place at the GIT SECURITY AWARD and would like to thank the jury as well as the readers. However, the award is not only a confirmation of our work, but at the same time a motivation to continue developing innovative software solutions for our customers and partners in the future", says Lars Waldow, CPO at Advancis. "With networked solutions and digital services, functional buildings such as office buildings, shopping centers, industrial plants or data centers become smart, efficient, sustainable and secure environments. Here, a multitude of individual systems provide large amounts of information which is often difficult to manage – e.g., from security systems, building automation, communication technology or IoT. Therefore, holistic solutions for the integration of security technology, communication and IT are required. This is exactly where we come in with our vendor-neutral PSIM system WinGuard", explains Lars Waldow.
The award is presented annually by the expert magazine GIT SECURITY EMEA. After the registration phase, a neutral jury makes a preselection for each category. Readers of the print magazines and the associated online communities of GIT SICHERHEIT, GIT SECURITY EMEA and PRO-4-PRO.com are then called upon to vote for their favorite products.
The other winners of the awards will be announced in GIT SICHERHEIT No. 11/23, in GIT SECURITY EMEA 4/23 and on www.GIT-SICHERHEIT.de and www.GIT-SECURITY.com.
