The high performance chipset incorporated into Wisenet X cameras won the Grand Prize at the High-tech Safety Industry Product and Technology Awards 2017 held on November 28th in Korea.

Established in 2015, the High-tech Safety Industry Product and Technology Awards are designed to recognise outstanding products and technologies which are contributing to building a safer society through the continuous development of cutting-edge technology. The awards were sponsored by 15 government agencies and organisations including the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE), Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS), and Defence Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA).

We are delighted the Wisenet X camera series has won such an important and high profile award,” said Bob (H.Y.) Hwang Ph.D., Managing Director, Hanwha Techwin Europe. “All around the world, it is being recognised that our Wisenet X cameras have set a new standard. This award follows on from the announcement a few months ago that Wisenet X was selected as the winner of the Video Surveillance Hardware category in the UK’s Benchmark Innovation Awards 2017.
