Xtralis: Vesda range receives EU Certifications. Xtralis announced that its Vesda range of Aspirating Smoke Detectors (ASD) has become the first in the industry to receive the EC Certificate of Conformity and to meet the full requirements of EN 54-20.

The EN 54-20 standard becomes a mandatory requirement across most of Europe next year and, for the first time, introduces performance requirements for high sensitivity detection systems.

Mariann McDonagh, senior vice president of corporate marketing for Xtralis said, “we are proud to have achieved the EN 54-20 approval more than 12 months before the official European deadline. Now people can specify Xtralis ASD solutions with the full confidence that they will be compliant upon installation and commissioning.”
