Access IS: BGR130RK boarding gate reader

Access IS: BGR130RK boarding gate reader. Access IS of Reading, UK, has announced the BGR130RK boarding gate reader, an integrated 2D bar code imager and 4-track, manual magnetic swipe reader.

It is a cost-effective and compact solution where occasional ATB2 reading is needed in airports at which some passengers continue to travel using ATB2 boarding passes.

It eliminates the need to install a complex, motorised MSR for the few months before ATB2 travel documents are withdrawn completely and is designed to read all airport 2D barcode symbologies from a PDA or mobile phone display.

The omni-directional bar code reader reads travel documents face-up making it quicker and easier for agents to operate, and speeding up the boarding process. roger.
