Wagner's OxyReduct system for active fire prevention is based on the principle of reducing the oxygen concentration in the protected area. By introducing nitrogen, the oxygen content is reduced to a level below the ignition limit of the materials, thus preventing the spread of fire under defined conditions.

With the new OxyReduct F-Line, the process has been extended to include sustainable, hydrogen-based fuel cell technology, which also enables emission-free energy supply. The key technological advancement lies in the combination of protective atmosphere generation and self-sufficient energy supply. As a result, the system enables continuous fire prevention with carbon-neutral operation – a groundbreaking advancement in effective fire protection technology.

The nitrogen required for this fire prevention is produced by an electrochemical reaction in the fuel cell. Moreover, the fuel cell provides electrical energy (electricity) and heat for operational applications, increasing overall efficiency. Because of the high efficiency, even small amounts of hydrogen are sufficient to produce the required amount of nitrogen.

OxyReduct F-Line is particularly suitable for protected areas in logistics and warehousing, including cold storage and high-bay warehouses, and can be installed in new buildings, space-saving expansions and retrofits. The scalable system can be flexibly combined with other OxyReduct nitrogen generators to create hybrid protection concepts for various applications.

By integrating fuel cell technology into the active fire prevention system, OxyReduct F-Line sets new standards and underlines the relevance of sustainable fire protection solutions. The combination of proven technology and innovative power supply combines environmental sustainability with maximum operational safety.
