Assa Abloy: Office Security with Pin Door Handle

Photo

Assa Abloy’s new access control solution Code Handle with a built-in electronic Pin pad can be fitted on any indoor lock by replacing the existing handle. The new solution aims to keep office spaces private and secure, making sure only authorized personnel can enter certain rooms.

There is no need for users to change the door lock mechanism; they can just replace the existing handle. With Code Handle, there is no wiring, no expensive access control system and no need for any physical keys. Two screws fit the handle to almost any interior office, meeting room, archive or storage room door.

The inbuilt electronic Pin pad upgradest he security on any door. Users press a 4-digit code on the handle’s keypad and the door opens. Code Handle comes with a Master Code and 9 different user Pins, so administrators can restrict access to a select group of people, like senior managers, the IT department or the office cleaners.

Self-locking for extra security
Auto-locking ensures an office or storage room is always secure.
Code Handle simply locks itself when a door is closed.

Simple security
The two standard batteries powering the Code Handle typically last for 30,000 lock/unlock cycles before they need to be replaced. Code Handle comes in left- and right-hand versions. The product is fire tested and enables free exit from the inside of a room.
