Baumüller Holding: Safety solution b maXX-safePLC. The integrable and PLC-open safety-compliant safety solution records central, modular decentralised and hybrid automation structures.

The main component is the new b maXX-safePLC safety control system in combination with a drive system with integrated functional safety. This contributes to a reduction in complexity.

This is due to the fact that complicated wiring is not necessary and the effort for wiring and testing is minimised.

Integrated safety control systems even make the multiple coupling of units completely unnecessary. Therefore the combination of standard and safe SIL 3 control units reduces the complexity of the plant, ensures safe operation and in comparison with conventional solutions is economical for the operator of the machine.
