Bosch System Designer Software Updates
Software package updates for SSD and a plug-in have been released

Bosch Safety Systems Designer (SSD) 3.4 and an SSD plugin for AutoCAD software 1.6 have been released and are downloadable from the company’s website. In a nutshell, the plugin for AutoCAD software allows automatic data transfer between AutoCAD software and SSD for higher data quality and reliability.
The package streamlines entire fire alarm projects for consultants and system designers. The automation of processes saves time and effort for the best efficiency, and the ability to rapidly customize system planning and design offers benefits for service providers and end users alike. To go along with SSD, Bosch have developed a new product Interface module with two inputs and one power output, the FLM-430-I2M1.
This interfaces with conventional signaling devices as well as fire protection equipment such as dampers, fire doors and door holders. Also new is the BEXS110D-24 DC Ex-rated sounder. Comprehensive ‘how-to’ videos, datasheets and online training in German, Spanish and Portuguese are already available.
