Captron Electronic: safecap4. The safecap4 is an intelligent capacitive SENSORbutton. The SENSORbutton has been certified in the highest safety category (category 4) by the German employers’ liability insurance association and has already been awarded the Bavarian State Prize.

safecap A and safecap B are connected to a functional safety line and are equipped with two electronic PhotoMOS relays each as output relays. These are actuated by two independent logics.

Hence, the machine is stopped if just one error occurs in one channel. The sensors are able to detect foreign matter, humid soiling and operating errors.

Electronic faults can also never trigger both buttons simultaneously. The complete set integrated into the panel or the version with two Protector variants offers even more safety.

safecap4 offers IK08, IP 69K and more than 100 million switching cycles.
