Flash light and siren: An unbeatable combination

Flashing lights are a natural component of every alarm system. Whether the incident be a fire, a burglary or a technical disturbance, the devices quickly and clearly show the way to those providing help. Because optical alarm devices must be fitted in a clearly visible position, they should be of an appropriate design, and as reasonably priced as possible. On the basis of its experience with installers and operators of security devices, SeTec has brought out a flashing light which offers an optimum combination of both requirements.

Thanks to its modern, square shape, it clearly stands out from conventional round models. Its robust construction, using shock resistant, flameproof synthetic material, makes it insensitive to external influences (mode of protection IP 54). The BLZ 03 flashing light is available in two models:

- with a red base and red cap for fire alarms,
- with a white base and orange cap for burglar or fault alarms.
The cap is available in other colours on request. A simple connection has been prioritised. The base is suitable for both wall and ceiling fitting, and fits standard concealed switching sockets. Cabling can be inserted from below or from the side.

To ensure the alarm is heard, SeTec also offers the electronic MTS 03 multitone siren in a matching design. Because of its successful integration of the round horn into the square housing it is suitable both for modern industrial and administrative buildings and for classical old buildings. The alarm tone and volume can be individually set. Various tones are available. Programming is extremely easy and can be undertaken on site. Low electricity consumption and universal applicability both indoors and outdoors are further advantages of this attractive and inexpensive signalling device.
