Intelligent yard management - When movement, efficiency and safety become manageable at a glance
What happens when and where on the site? At which gate are there vacancies, where does it queue up? Does truck driver "X" rightly blame truck driver "Y" for the scratch or did he perhaps cause it himself? Since when has the loading ramp been so deformed and where is the pallet that was placed there yesterday to be reloaded now?
The assignment of parking spaces, goods receipt, goods issue, goods throughput - all this ideally works as precisely as a Swiss clockwork. Maintaining an overview of what is happening on the site during peak traffic hours is a major technical, organisational and personnel effort for both small and large companies. Geutebrück's Vehicle Access Manager VAM uses video analysis tools to make a significant contribution to ensuring safety on the site, avoiding delays caused by high traffic volumes, tracing causes of damage and at the same time ensuring the best possible efficiency.
Registration of arrival, resting time and departure of trucks
In addition to information on how many vehicles enter and exit, the VAM also records the number and length of stay or even assigns a maximum length of stay right at the point of entry.
As soon as the vehicle is registered using the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR), the time is measured in the VAM. If the time limit is exceeded, the system triggers an alarm and the driver can be contacted via the security guard. If a vehicle leaves the premises within the time window specified, VAM also registers this. The free space is available again.
Evidence of damage and accidents in a court of law
Damage to barriers, corners, gates, bumpers, rubberised weather protection devices and ramps are often affected. In order not to be left with the costs, it is important to find out who caused them or to hold them to account without any doubt. With the "High-Speed-Motion Search" analysis tool, a frame can be drawn around the damaged area in live images or during recording. Click to display all movements in this zone. This allows to determine when the damage was caused and who caused it.
Avoid unauthorized access
With the appropriate video analysis tools, detection zones are set up around the area to be secured. Suspicious movements are automatically detected, and an alarm is triggered. A timer avoids false alarms, e.g. during periods of intense activity, the motion message is deactivated. From a certain time or on weekends, it is automatically armed.
The VAM brings transparency to all farm management activities. It can be easily integrated into existing third-party systems.
