Labor Strauss: Fire Detection Control Panel BC08 – GSA25 Finalist
The compact control panel BC08 is designed for small fire alarm systems. Commissioning is simple - even without a PC. The display/front panel allows operation via the menu or function keys. Eight conventional lines are provided for connecting fire detectors.
A fire brigade control panel and key depot can also be connected. With the remote access app REACT, the system can be monitored and operated via smartphone or tablet. A variant of the BC08 is suitable for controlling single-zone extinguishing systems. It is available as a pure extinguishing control panel or combined fire alarm/extinguishing control panel.
The panel is tested in accordance with EN 54-2/-4 and EN 12094-1 and is VdS-approved.
Thanks to its flexibility, the control panel BC08 is equally suitable for fire alarm systems as well as extinguishing systems. Commissioning is particularly simple and only requires the language, date/time and authorisation code to be entered. The preset parameters cover typical applications. This minimises the amount of training required.
Alternatively, a customised configuration can be defined using PC software and imported into the control panel. It is also possible to read out the parameters from the control centre and simplifies the adaptation of an existing system.
The wide range of parameterisation options reduces the need for external additional equipment. All essential functions are combined in the control centre.
Thanks to VdS approval and testing in accordance with all applicable standards, the control panel is intended for both the VdS markets and the global market. With its numerous functions and good price-performance ratio, the compact control panel fills a gap in the market and is of interest for many small applications, for example for nurseries or small hotels.
